[re attempts made to cut down the liberty pole in Boston]
The soldiers still bent on further insults to the citizens;
on Friday the 19th, published the following paper, and went
in posses thro' the streets, putting them up at the most
public places of the city, and threw some of them into the
major's entry.
  God and a soldier all men doth adore
  In time of war, and not before:
  When the war is over, and all thing righted,
  God is forgotten and the soldier slighted.
